just curious what the norm round here is

i ski some shitty 170s that i need to replace next season

I have 2 pairs of 186s and am picking up some 189s soon. I generally prefer 184-190ish, if the skis are stiffer I'm ok with 184s and if they are softer I'd be ok riding 188-193ish

I’m about 185cm tall 174 lbs

Nowadays 193, 192, 188, 188, 188, 187, 186, 184, 183, 178 in quiver, trying to x the 178for a 185 ish full camber park ski
20 some years ago tho I was on 198ish straight planks
retired a handful of miscellaneous lengths from 174-205

like em 185ish park, 188ish all mountain, 190+ charging or pow

I’m 5-8”, can ski Midwest blacks no prob.

but Only been skiing park for 2 months. Consider my self beginner at park. Getting either 155 or 166 line honey badgers for pure park ski. I know it’s short. But Is this ok for beginner for first season or so ? Then move up in size ?

definitely don't get 155, 166 is probably fine but i'd personally go longer

You should get 172s, from my understanding the hb are hella soft and they will probably true measure a little shorter than 172 anyway

What exactly made you appreciate that added length ? Anything Aside from stability on landing jumps and edge hold ?

It made buttering on them a little more stable (harder to overflex)

Paddy Flanagan looks like he’s 4 feet or something 180 Jet Skis will probably be fine

Everything I have is 184-186. I’ve demoed 190+ a couple of times, but they always felt like just slightly too much for me. 5’10”/165.
