Velcro bindings would be pretty epic. Besides being lightweight and your foot being directly on the ski, they would also have lateral release in any direction. You could even have different types of Velcro that act as different din settings

That's the plan! We have different VelcroTek compounds each with unique release values. For example if you run a DIN of 10 we'd set you up with an 80/20 petroleum/fur blend with .8 inch deep fibers. This compound requires 369nm of force to release which is the equivalent of a 10 DIN binding.

100% safer AND more reliable than traditional alpine bindings

Actually way easier than "oldschool" bindings! You don't have to push down to get a heel lever to engage, so it's super easy to just stand on them and go. Remember you can always tweak your boot position on the fly too!

We were lucky enough to have uphill boss Hoji test these out for us. With the weight savings you can ski twice as many lines in a day and still have energy for the après!

All april fools jokes aside i would ride skinlades with velcro bindings. Also if u could remove your bindings anduse a velcro strap you could actually save a ton of weight
