I went skiing today and saw some super good skiers with a filmer. Don't say anything but very impressed. Later see this
Im so fucking sad I didnt say anything to them or attempt to. The line crew was there. They're super inspiring to me and Im beating myself up because I didn't say anything
MaimHelpBeing a fanboy is so cringy. Most I’ve ever done is a nod or a couple words about the day.
they must get annoyed when people surround them and try and talk to them about how they want autographs and shit all the time
Just because you don't want to meet a pro skier doesn't make it cringe dude, you're not "cool" for not being a fanboy. Tom gets stopped every day, hes happy to say hi and take photos with anyone, these guys love to meet fans.

You took me the wrong way man. Literally just said that they get bombarded to the point where they can’t ski. You ski with pros daily I get it but when Tom came to my resort 3ish weeks ago it wasn’t announced or anything and no clips were posted until after and he was there for a while. Everytime he comes here there’s 800 kids with him which is cool sometimes but every day it would get old

The point is these guys won't get upset like you do about the 800 kids, these fans are the reason they get to ski everyday, they don't feel like you do, which is why I'm saying you should never feel bad about saying hi to a pro skier.

Damn i wish they'd do a pnw tour and come to crystal.
Idk always cool when people show up at your local.
OP, don't worry, you can slide the same rails as twally did. Now every trick you get at summit is pretty much like crossing streams with the legend himself.

What are you saying I know if I was a pro skier I would have no complaints and it would bring me so much joy if people came up to me and told me how much they appreciated my skiing and the joy it brought them.
Definitely don't be concerned about meeting/saying hi to professionals and the like. If they act cold back towards you that's on them. It's not like you're going to be standing next to them for the rest of the day with a list of 100 questions. It's just a simple "Hi, I think what you do is dope. You inspire me." If they have the time they'll likely continue the conversation with you.
Don't forget, every professional was once a younger person that also looked up to someone. They know how you feel in the situation.

Hits different when the pros these days are younger than you tho lol.
Saw Keegan Kilbride at Loon last year, gave him a head nod in the lift line then proceeded to watch him fuck up the park for the next three hours while rehabbing his knee. Great day
imagine stopping Todd walnut. The only person I would ever stop for a picture is Evan Heath

Leave it to a Bunchie fanboy douchebag to not realize that REAL pros get paid to ski shitty resorts and chat with the local riders.

Noted. I always see him at Woodward, but wanted to respect his space. Next time I'm saying "Hi Tom! Have a nice day, dude!"
One time I found out, about an hour too late, that Travis Pastrana and the crew were filming a Nitro Circus episode about 20 minutes from my house. It’s a pain you never forget.
I kinda did the same thing at TAFT. I was just standing at the top of the park by myself and Andy Parry came up to me. He was making funny faces like he was trying to start a conversation. I just smiled and said hi super awkwardly and skied away lol
Ok ok so I stomped the piss out a ripped mute 1 like close to the nose and this cute girl skis up to me. Little bit of freckles around the eyes longer dark brown hair and strands. Shawty was maddd cute in my eyes. Girl skied straight up to me and goes Hi and smiles. I freak tf out cause I look like a turd under the mas plus I haven’t flirted with a girl since before I downloaded NS. Well I look her right in the eyes and then ski off. Now I regret it and will never be happy
So I live near Julia Roberts. I can not decide if I should bake a pie and bring it over, see if she wants to do park laps (I do not think she can do k-feds so it might be a bit of a boring date), or if I should keep it low key... It took me a while to figure out who she is, but she is the lady in Pretty Woman.
TnskiWe're we're you at, some guy on the chair said something about pro skiers up there today, there were some unusually good skiers in the park today.
summit central going tommorow hoping to say hi but now they've posted it every where and they'll be lots of people coming up and saying hi

I was working parking at Alta and got to park his crew when they rolled up one pow day last year. I was like “Hey man! I heard you were coming to ski with me today, whatssup?” Got a solid chuckle and had a brief conversation about the weather or whatever. Seemed like a really cool dude just stoked on some skiing with his friends
I’m from Washington, I was pretty bummed I wasn’t back from this but my brother does a lot of media/filmimg work for summit and I told him to say what’s up to Tom wallish for me so it makes me feel a little better

Yeah, the first time I went to a TAFT I had andy sign pretty much everything I could, a pizza box, my skis, etc. This last time I went I said hey and later that day waved at him soooo. Sponsor @Line_Skis ?
