Replying to Shock absorbing footbeds!?
Hello skiworld! I recently switched to new skiboots, the Tecnica Cochise 130 dyn. The plan was to use this as an all around boot. Im used to park boots, the Dalbello il moro, so i knew it would be a differens. But, now i have been skiing the Cochise for 3 month, and I can feel my knees and ankels are getting more and more sore. I checked the footbeds (inside the shell) and it was a kind of hard plastic, abselutely no shock absorbing at all? Then i checked my buddys Full Tilts, and those footbeds where softer and a material that really absorbs socks during skiing! I searched the internett to find a material to make my own footbeds, but with litle luck.. So, do any of you guys have any suggestions?
My next idea is to by some quality slippers (Adidas or Nikes) and make those equal to the ones in hard plastic? I dont know if this will work, but i feel like the slippers material is pretty similar to the Fulltilt footbeds.
Cheers from Norway!
