New to skiing after boarding for 20+ years. Making the switch to learn with my wife and get the little kids started on skis next year. I have an opportunity to purchase 2018 Head Supershape Magnums skis in excellent condition for $200 (with bindings). I think it's like an excellent deal (from my admittedly limited knowledge of ski equipment). And these types of skis are the kind of riding I know I will want to do when I advance. But I'm concerned these are advanced level skis that may impair my ability to learn how to ski well. Can anyone provide any insight? Am I being overly cautious or should I pass? Should I pull the trigger on these despite being a beginner? Thanks in advance
