I literally live the "how do you see yourself in 5 years" from when I was 16

I am 21 and lately I've been thinking about my situation because of some upcoming career changes and school going on. I literally live my 16 year old dream, give or take some things, like still living with my parents is a lil drag, and living in the mountains, cuz I'm not there atm.

I literally ski near every day, or bike depending on season
I get my schoolwork done in the morning so I am just free for the day
I got a cozy lovin relationship
I work like 3 days a week lmao
I got my van and can travel anywhere whenever I want (depending on cash)
I eat clean and organic

Definitely not perfect but life b kinda cozy, l kinda live like a 16 year old but way happier Than I was when I was 16

1 year younger and minus the relationship part (lmao) but I wound up back in Milwaukee with my parents dude to da rona. Maybe that’s not all bad cause I know they’re not gonna be around forever and I’m glad to spend time with them. Get my shit done in school, wrench on my car, ski almost every day. Only working a few shifts a week but making money in other smarter ways so I can use my time for things I enjoy. Next year will hopefully be back out in the mountains. My 15 year old self would be happy but also pissed I can’t even cork sev yet.

Dropped out (kicked out) of high school. Worked in kitchens to fund traveling the world literally on my own. Had epiphany about education. Went to college and developed sores on elbows from studying 15 hours a day for years on end. Took LSAT and MCAT in same cycle. Got doctorate. Worked in profession and got into situation where I can work 10 hrs. a week (normally) and make $150k/yr. without including benefits package. Ski anytime I want, but career not really going anywhere = tradeoff for working 10 hrs a week.

I'm 21 too brother. I feel like 16 year old me would have been surprised that I'm in school. Wasn't a huge part of my plan but the right opportunity ended up coming along so here we are. Only a year and a half to go lol.

Otherwise I ski 3-5 times a week. I'm was less sendy than I was 3 years ago, but I know that I want to ski for the rest of my life and the sad truth is that doing super rad shit is a great way to get too hurt to do that. I try to do a backy every day the vis is good, but I know in my heart that i've dropped my biggest cliff and spun my most futuristic spin. I'm ok with that, even if 16 year old me wouldve called me a pussy.

Honestly man, I rly dont push it too hard in the park but I am definitely the best I've ever been. I really just vibe and cruise some days, I know i'm probably not gonna go pro for skiing so I just have fun with it and ride what feels good. Unless I get out west onto freeride lines... then I throw down
