Comparison of these "performance" skis

CeleryI don't know anything about any of those skis but go closer to 170, it'll be more stable I think you'll have more fun.

Edit: for reference, I'm 177 cm tall and ski 185's. Anything near your height would work pretty well I think. Although maybe @DominatorJacques has some more insight on posted skis than I do.

Ill be renting gear in Killington and was wondering if anyone knew much about my ski options. I called around to various shops and asked what skis they consider their "performance" rentals, and got these answers. My research tells me most are all-mountain skis that are pretty basic and own the lower-end of skis, while some better for park. Can y'all let me know? Im looking for a good ski for an intermediate mainly for on-piste, groomed slopes.

Elan Explore 82
Rossignol Experience 80
Elan Slingshot Twin tip
Elan Wingman 82 TI
Nordica Drive (not sure what model, but all my research says these are women's skis? idk, but im a guy)

If relevant, I'm 170cm tall and 80kg. What length should I be goin for? 160?

mystery3Of those options get the Wingman 82ti. The 166 or 172 would be fine.

Someone here may know a shop in that area that carries a broader range of skis?

keeyz1728-2Gotcha. Those are somewhat pricier at 45 bucks a day. Can I know why you'd choose those over the others specifically? Or are those just the ones you are familiar with.

Also yeah, I was hoping by posting here someone whose been to that mountain would have some more suggestions for me! I got a couple weeks before I head up so there's still lots of time for research.
