Money.mitchI didn’t take into consideration that you said you were looking for a directional touring ski. I don’t think they ski well switch at recommended, but that wouldn’t really matter if you aren’t going to ski switch in them. I use them as a resort ski when I am on vacation so I don’t see a lot of soft snow in them. I skied one day in powder on them this year and thought the mount point was great, but on days where I’m just cruising around the mountain I wish they we’re closer to center and a little more playful. I am not sure how much a +3 mount would affect soft snow performance, but the recommended would be cool for a directional touring ski
