Cant fricken backflip on a tramp

1. go get a friend who knows how to backflip
2. Kinda try and flip over your shoulder (put ur hand down if you need to) try and make it to your knees
3. get friend to go over proper backflip form (or look it up)
4. try and piece it together and have ur friend tell u what ur doing wrong (take videos)
Also before u try and learn it on the slopes, try and get it down so you're not moving backwards while you're flipping. In other words, you should land almost exactly where you jumped from. Last tip: don't tuck your head in towards your knees when you go to tuck up. Let your head lead you into the flip and then have your knees tuck up and follow your head.

If you can't flip on tramp please for your safety don't even think about flipping on skis.

Pop, throw your hips forward, lean whole body back, tuck knees, spot landing, stomp.

Yah i wasnt even thinking about doing it on skis untill i got er good on the tramp, i just did not think it would be nearly this hard

go find two friends and just have them toss you through a backflip motion. I have taught countless people how to backflip this way. Literally just get two people to throw you and you'll get a feel for the rotation

1.learn how to do a somersault/backroll on the ground or the trampoline (without bouncing) Roll straight back. If you can get used to going straight back it will eliminate the mental block
2. At something you will need to send it. Remember to throw back with your arms. Set straight back, not over your shoulder. Make sure to jump up, not back as this will help you get the rotation around. Once upside down you may need to tuck. Do so with your knees separated, that way if you under rotate you won't take a knee to the face.
Open up and and land.
If you over or under rotate you should be okay. Just roll onto your back.
Also, check out stompit tutorials on YouTube. They have some great tutorials going into great detail.

Do some back rolls to get use to going over backwards as straight as possible and getting comfy with the rotation.

Be careful sometimes with tricks if it's not working you're nit there yet.

With backflips there's a lot to being able to visualize what it will be like to look over behind you sned throw it straight.

If you're really struggling wait till you can throw it into a pool honestly. At least then you have the water. Just make sure to push away from the wall or board.

You need to change your verbiage with some NLP to I can do a backflip on a tramp.

Biggest thing for tramp for me was having someone spot me who knew what they were doing and they were able to pull my body around if I was under-rotating, so I had more confidence in knowing I wasn't going to land on my neck.

The key to any flip is to set the flip with your shoulders. Also, don't get scared and bail out mid air. The worst thing you can do while throwing flips is to bail out mid-rotation.

I think this is exactly whats happening to me, i get like to the peak of the jump and have a hard time tucking or just open up. I'll try to really follow through with my head and shoulders. i feel like i dont ever have enough rotation, but if i could get tucked more maybe i would?

When I first learned to back flip i was tucking by bringing my body to my legs as you do in a front flip. This slowed the rotation down. Someone told me that when tucking a backflip to bring your legs Into your body instead if your body to your legs. This will help speed up the rotation and avoid stalling.
