I think we are at a point in skiing, where a lot of pros won't always get the freshest newest skis. it is easier for companies to hook guys up with leftover stock, and honestly makes sense. barely anything changes in design on most of these skis year to year. except the graphic..

Yeah this just isnt true at all, if anything more ski brands are sponsoring less skiers.
SkylineGTR_R32Line: *adds LSM to a burned out lineup*

i do like jed waters tho
All those windells prodigies Line sponsored are going to be on the pro circuit in a year or two. They have absolutely insane rail tech and already have a few triples at age 17 or under. They are fearless.
B00NEJed waters, luke votaw, and Jackson karsteter will bring a whole new age to skiing, especially with how good luke votaw is on the jumps
Luke Votaw is by far the best skier I've seen in person. He came to my home hill for TAFT and he was doing the most ridiculous tricks on the tiniest jumps

i dont wanna speak for the homie, but I don't think this is what he meant. I think he meant its a lot easier to toss athletes factory defects and random shit laying around instead of giving them brand new shit (working for a ski manufacture I can confirm this). He's not saying it's EASIER for companies to sponsor skiers, just easier to throw them old shit.
