Yo so get this, Jackie Chan has a pro model that costs $42,000

Foil is honored to unveil our most exciting Signature model: The “Jackie Chan Oro-Amaranto”

This spectacular ski has been developed especially for Jackie Chan. It has been precisely tuned to Jackie’s physical abilities and skiing preferences. It also features a topsheet in Purple Heart wood as selected by Jackie, who has a personal collection of Purple Heart wood in his museum where he preserves endangered and rare species from around the globe.
This Limited Edition will be available only for a short time and is offered with the exact same performance and specifications as the master Jackie Chan himself uses. The “Jackie Chan Oro-Amaranto” package also includes a souvenir book and certificate signed by Jackie.

Primary Ingredients Include:
- Amaranto Rosewood topsheet
- Graphite race nano tech base
- Quadriaxial carbon stripes
- Ash/Paulownia woodcore
- Bamboo sidewalls
- Stainless steel edges
- Rubber dampening inserts
- Titanal plates

2) those goddamn mysterious gold Pivots are up there with the mystery of who put dynamite in tanner's boots that day at Chad's. i was chatting with a Look principal last year and totally forgot to ask cause i had a sick buzz going and i was distracted by his news that the Pivot 15s were returning. sorry guys

Very interesting that the core is ash/paulownia yet the sidewalls are bamboo. I have skis with bamboo sidewalls (the same piece is also the core) and they are awesome, but I’ve never heard of that mix.

Seems like they have a higher stack height than standard pivots and very minor tweaks cosmetically...I'd have a panic attack trying to adjust the din and not scrape the 14k gold off

I was contemplating the Gold Pivot 15s for my next binding. I think I’ll go with these instead.

Ah yes, legendary skier Jackie Chan.

Maybe we’re missing the point. The purple skis and gold pivots don’t make you a better skier, but they actually make you a martial arts movie star.

How tf are you supposed to get to that screw in front of the toe piece? Do you have to take whole assembly apart to mount them?

Looking it up on Baidu (aka Chinese Google), I was able to get a couple scenes of Jackie snowboarding in Police Story 4 (1996). For anyone that lives under a rock, he does all his own stunts. I can't wait to get home and watch the full film.
