yeah he means e.g. carve right, spin left. they're super sick but ive never really committed to one, i hate that feeling of being caught out in front over your edges
they're done but not super commonly. i think antti is a good suggestion someone made already, and hmm who else.. phil belanger back in the day for sure, and i'd be shocked if phil casabon has never done them haha
Antti is the only person that ive ever seen do it proper. Ive seen a bunch where they opp carve but don’t actually hold an edge until the takeoff so they straighten out and just end up doing a normal 3. Looks kinda lame tbh. Anttis are insane tho and i’ll bet that hanka can do them sick too
Ok Ok Ok same video just later on. Should've watched the whole thing before I posted. Here's an Opp Carve 3. Doesn't carve as hard as the above shot and then angle isn't as good to see it but I'd say it's still an Opp Carve.

Did a few at hood, they probably looked like shit because I was spinning unnat but they aren’t that hard. Opp carve 1 is even easier and is honestly how I do 180s by default now
