Weird problem with natural front swaps

Been skiing the backyard setup lately and i noticed something super weird, i can do back swaps and fs/bs unnat swaps pretty well and ive gotten a bunch of double swap variations with them. But natural frontswaps elude me for some reason, I just dont bring my skis around and sack the rail if i try to swap early. I can do kfeds and sometimes superfed if i swap late but my shoulders simply refuse to go 180 when i try them early/on kinks. any tips or advice? definetly a weird fucking problem that i would be stoked to fix before the season starts

Maybe try looking to the back of the rail as you spin, then, look back to the front to lock your balance back on??? might help, might not. Just give it a shot

Make sure you jump on with a full 90. The angle you swap from is the angle you will land from on the other side. If you only jump on 60 degrees you will go 60 degrees in the other direction.

I understand but thats not my problem at all, i just cant get it around. I checked a few videos when i tried it i was 90 degrees but i couldnt get the 180 around for front swap

Try to have your shoulders open and facing forward as soon as you get on the rail. That way your shoulders are already turned halfway, and it will be much easier to get your switch up around.
This video is kinda old, but at 1:46 there's a good example of that.

After that it's the same thing for double front swaps, you want your shoulders facing downhill the whole time.

thx this is helpful ill try this, i think i unknowingly already do this on unnat fs which would probably explain why theyre easier for me

Just gotta comit, try doing a front 2 early so you go front swap to switch at the end of the rail and then just dial it in until you get the feel for em

Maybe try and focus on your set, and make sure your getting a solid pop when hopping onto the rail. Kinda weird but the pop for the set is everything. Also Ik you said it’s not exactly your problem but making sure your at full 90 before you go for it.
