i hope you're kidding. it doesn't matter if people are better or not, he's super marketable. plus, a video seg doesnt show everything someone can do, so if you havnt personally ski'd with him how the hell do you know how good he is?

ummm matt terral and charlie lasser, both the same age as kye, and both kick ass more than kye. kye is pretty good for 14, he has a lot more talent than i originally thought, but there are 2 things that make me not like kye... he has the worst style ever, everything he does he is flailing, even when he grabs he flails, and the second he acts like he is 6, i have witnessed him throw a fit and heard of many other times... the worst was at the WSI when he threw a fit and threw his helmet, googles, poles, gloves and skis everywhere then walked away... that was just retarted.

Didn't CR pull the 1260 and 1440's when he was 14 at Squaw Valley?

As far as big mountain, there are 14 year olds in Fernie/Whistler/Snowbird that are better. He is too small still to be powerful enough big mountain. Also as you all know the best big mountain riders come from a racing background, so they won't be revealed until they give up racing and ski big mountain for a few years. Park rats don't have the balance or power stance of racers to handle big lines.

I am going to only discuss Kye's part in dubski. This is because that's all I have seen from him and yes I do judge a skier solely based on competition results and video parts, because that is all that matters to me.

Kye's skiing in his part in dubski was not original or creative and it was also not impressive. I enjoy it because of the feel of it and it's just cool seeing such a young kid ski reasonably well. But I mean, he isn't doign anything new or different... I dont really see why personality matters, unless it comes through in the segment (I didnt really find it did) but I would like to find out if you care to explain.
