Why high calorie? Usually higher caloric protein powders have more garbage additives in them.

Definitely lots of options out there. My guess is you wanna gain weight in muscle? You're gonna gain some fat too but if you're proper it can be minimized. Since mass gainers usually use a shit fuck ton of powder, they don't usually dissolve well (at least last time I took any). Look for price per serving that best meets your caloric and macro needs. Nothing worse than a glob of protein powder hitting you in the mouth. Recommend using a blender and using milk instead of water for those extra calories.

If you're really trying to gain weight and muscle, you need to EAT. Mass gainers help fill in the gaps but you need to figure out your basal metabolic rate and then figure out how much calories, fat, carbs, sugars, and protein you need. And you need to workout properly too. Bodies are made in the kitchen. Recommend a multivitamin too to ensure no deficits: opti-men is great. Glutamine and a BCAA recovery drink too.

You don't want your body to enter a catabolic state so meals need to be on point. 3 main with 2-3 extra smaller meals. If you can't do that, maltodextrin is great for sipping throughout the day and feeding those complex carbs.

Eggs and avocados! I can relate to your situation and I started eating about a 12-18 eggs a day along with a few avocados throughout the week. Its more of a natural protein and your body accepts and digests the proteins much better than the weight gainer powders. Powders are full of fillers and stuff that your body is not use to using so you just end up having really big shits throughout the day. I did eggs for 6 months, hit the gym and put on 25lbs. Of course ever ones body is different but eggs worked for me.

If you want lean it down, just do egg whites but sounds like you need the calories like myself.

This, but be careful with all of the cholesterol in yolks. Mass gainers are full of garbage.
