noahsav_Candides are by no means stiff. The prodigies are stiffer than candides overall. The candides are an awesome ski (for a park and all mtn ski) but they come at a cost of very poor durability. Especially if you're gonna be hitting rails a lot these things do not hold up well to any kind of average park abuse - the 2021 model will supposedly fix some of these durability issues such as delam and topsheet damage but who knows.
I haven't actually owned prodigies but I personally prefer them to the candide line. They are still playful but a fair bit stiffer than the candides. Additionally, they are not symmetrical so they perform a tad better in all mountain conditions. One factor to think about is that the candide 1.0s do offer thicker 2.5mm edges vs. 2.2mm on prodigies so you would expect more edge cracks on prodigies. Also I dont think the prodigy rocker is too pronounced (nothing like on3p or vishnu) so I wouldn't be dissuaded by that.
If you are just getting in to park skiing id probably go the candide 1.0s as they are slightly more forgiving/flexy but if you can flex a ski decently i'd consider the prodigies. I find the symmetrical side-cut of candides to be a bit hooky in crud and would prefer the slightly more directional prodigies. Also have a look at the prodigy 2.0s and maybe revolt 95s cause they could also be good options.
Never ridden volkl revolts so cant rly comment there.
Hope this helps a bit :)
anders_aHow heavy are you on the rails? guys here tends to think everyone has an insane railgame by default, which is kinda good thing.
