Not sure if this is a joke or not but those are the mounting plates for whatever binding you have...looks like a Marker setup

i don’t mount my own stuff, and am used to the look of a pivot, never really looked at my bindings before
they are Solomon sth2s

yeah so you mount those up and then mount your heal piece to that mounting plate. That spiral groove is where the screw on the heal piece rides in order to adjust your binding forward or back.

That’s the mounting track. Pivots don’t have one but most bindings do.

Thats actually a wall mounting setup for when ur done with the bindings for skiing and want to mount them to a wall for memorabilia

for real though most bindings have these, Pivots are kinda the odd man out in that they don't have them
