The problem with her is it seems shes is doing the activist stunt for attention. In her Instagram bio she literally says "17 year old climate activist with aspergers". That doesn't mean shit. One of my homies has aspergers and you can tell he struggles a little socially, but I forget he even has it sometimes because he basically is completely normal. I find it disrespectful that she uses her disorder for publicity. No one cares that you have a slight disorder. Instead of causing school strikes she should do actual things that benefit the climate. Also she has a recent post about how climate change can't be stopped without closing the giant gender inequality gap. Like shut tf up, those barely have anything to do with each other. Her need for attention is what pisses me off the most

Using the environment to push other politocal agendas needs to stop. Maybe more people on the right would support environmental issues more if they were not used to push other items. The Green New Deal for example was not even about the enviroment l. It pushed other issues like socializing the economy and enacting strict govt. influence on daily life.
