CatdickBojanglesI’ve got blue and red swix I hate to stain the shit out of my bases with it
SavageBiffDon’t “clean” your bases with chemicals leave that wax in there.
I use same stuff I ski on , a hf all temp race wax, multiple coats, I scrape and re apply temp specific wax for temp change tho
CatdickBojanglesHow’s snowshoe looking this week. Wisp is closed due to coronavirus and I’m working remotely for awhile aka skiing with no where to go close.
SavageBiffLooking good as of Thursday, thinking of heading back Monday looks like it’ll be dry.
Good cover everywhere, even choker and widow maker were open , sawmill and sawmill glades we’re closed as was the eagles express lift.
Lower ballhooter was half width cover but thick.
Everything was slush with crust underneath and I expect it to stay that way.
Cupp and Shays were full cover, 1 thin spot starting to color.
Progression or evo park whatever was all rails one small jump at end.
Didnt bother with silver creek update ya mo day if I make it
CatdickBojanglesSpoke too soon they just announced they are closing
SavageBiffRidiculous
OregonDeadwhy are you gonna quit skiing OP?
CatdickBojanglesSeason was cut short by all the resorts shutting down because of coronavirus. It’s made my decision to get a touring setup that much easier though. Could be skiing my resort now (east coast no back country).
SavageBiffWe got some back country , it’s just all 13 hours north east
Im also thinking of a touring setup. Was actually gonna put together a bc setup this summer and learn about touring too
I got skis I can throw some shifts on, but to buy another pair of boots... ( would be pair #4 in years...gzuz Christ
CatdickBojanglesYeah I was thinking of getting a set up just to be able to skin up my resort in the mornings for some good exercise. But this has convinced me to do it.
OregonDeadCool. I think storage wax is kinda a scam but maybe other people have noticed it making a difference. If you are thinking about though you can just wax normally with whatever and then wait to scrape until the day you ski those skis
DolanReloadedWhy would you need to wax before storage anyways?
like as long as your bases arent worn down to the ptex why bother?
