How to fix pivot brakes

Honestly when I bend my brakes I find it easiest to just clip in and try to bend it by hand back somewhat into place.

I put my boot in the ski without it on my foot and lay it on it’s side step on the beginning of the brake with my shoe and pull the end of brake out to counter the bend and then it’s straight again and I take my foot off and try to bend the whole thing back in toward the ski

Tried bending it back but it bends at the part touching the binding not the kink. I can bend it to pull it up tho

Clip your boot in then use a metal pipe to leverage it back to normal

When I try to leverage it it bends the part attached to the binding tho, this bend is a few centis down

my brakes have looked like this for 4 seasons and 3 pairs of skis just bend the brakes dude

Aight sick. I'll try it out soon. It's on a pow ski so the brakes don't make much difference anyway

Take a metal pipe and stick it on the brake up to where the kink is. You should be able to bend it at the kink if you support the upper part of the brake and work the lower half with the pipe
