Feedback : Faction Prodigy 2.0 Mounting Point

Hope everybody is doing well.

I just bought Faction Prodigy 2.0 2020, 171cm.
I'm 5.7, 138lbs, "expert" level.

I only skied FS Skis, dead center as my everyday skis since... I don't even remember.
My last pair is a Line Chronic from 2016.

As i'm turning older and going less and less to the park, i bought a more All Mountain rounded ski as an everyday ski. The Faction Prodigy 2.0
Practice will be charging on slopes, playing with natural terrain, riding a bit of switch, jumping natural modules etc...


On the Faction Prodigy 2.0, you have 2 mounting points:
- Freestyle mark, which is the more centered but not at the true center of the ski.
- All mountain mark, which is around 4cm back from the freestyle one.

Any feedback where to mount my Salomon STH2 ?

Any feedback, experience is welcome as it is a bit difficult to find anything on this subject.

animatorI put mine on the freestyle line, don’t mess with the all mountain line. It’s garbage and it’s only there as a courtesy. The ski is free style based so it feels way better mounted closer to the center. Hope this helps

And how it behaves in light pow for exemple on the freestyle mark ? Don't you have problems to float ?

As i'll use it as my all conditions ski, i will do a bit of everything except than park as i still have my Line Chronic for this specific part.

animatorI mean it floats as well as any other 98~mm waisted ski. Most skis that width aren’t gonna be great for pow but I haven’t had any issues yet. Assuming you’re talking less than 30cm you’ll be fine. Any more than that you’ll want a fatter ski anyway!
