K2 Hellbents in 2020

What's your opinion on the K2 Hellbents compared to newer skis? Are they still worth buying or they are now overshadowed by newer powder skis? Without taking price into consideration of course!

I have a pair and find myself riding them alot. They are heavy, stupid soft and stupid rockered. But also so much fun can't comment on performance in deep snow yet. Also take account that they changed the underfoot I think the last year they were made from a 122 to 130 something. Mine are 122.

No Maryland/PA/WV used to be stationed in NY at drum. I ski them at least once a week at Wisp. They aren't bad on soft groomers or chopped up crud. Nothing like my Jefferys but totally different kinda ski.

The hellbent still fucking rips !!! it holds its own for sure, partly because there still is nothing else like it (might never be), but also because it absolutely charges! you'd never think you could go fast on the things, but the big damp boards just plow over most anything without any effort, personally i think excelling in chewed up snow at the end of a pow day. Very cool ski, if you ever get the chance to buy one for cheap, do it. You wont regret it.

Not gonna lie, you're hyping me up quite a bit, there's actually a pair for sale near my area for very cheap but I've already bought a pair of freeride skis this year and I'm good for a few years i i think ahah and we don't get much snow where i ski so having 2 pair would be overkill

Best skis ever. Can charge anything, super buttery, a little pop, fun as shit, and make you a better skier upon stepping into a newer K2.

Idk about the hellbents but the k2 cats are my superhero skis. Easier to ride than a mormon girl's balloon knot.

I've got a pair and I love 'em. They are 130 underfoot so I only ride them on super deep days, if you want to stay on top and float you won't be disappointing. They are pretty heavy compared to newer skis and really floppy, but tons of fun. Lots of rocker so butters and landing switch is easy. I keep telling myself I should sell them because I have to many skis...then I ride them on a deep day and swear to myself I'll have them forever.

I still have mine. They are awesome, true center mount, really fun switch and in soft snow.

The main thing now is that rocker camber and taper make powder skis more versatile. But I used my Hellbents as a daily driver for several years it’s not that big of a deal

I’m from NY and now I’m VA, I only ski 115-130 since the OG hellbents came out. Fat skis have always been more fun

I love mine and use them often! They absolutely tear up deep days at Brighton. Also, the amount of comments and compliments you receive in the lift line is a little bit ridiculous.

I got some old ones "Hellbents"

I'd consider letting go for $150. they got core shots, top sheet chips, etc. but still fully ridable.

I think i got some old pics in my prof.
