Ski fliming .

Hey yall, I love skiing so much and i always have enjoyed making edits for people and of other stuff and im really into videography. I dont know jackshit about fliming skiing and all dat. What are youre recommendations i see myself doing follow cams and ive really used borrow lenses.com as a helpful resource because i can plan a weekend im going skiing and rent a fire ass gimbal and i already have a good ish camera Panasonic GH5, Tips and tricks on making fire ski videos? if all goes as planned i might drop something on here so yall can see if i used your tips!

Just hold onto the camera and start it up. Then follow someone. Then produce the video! You can do it. You don't need tips.

Exactly. You've not even started yet and you're already overthinking it.

It's all subjective of course, but I commonly prefer watching raw insta edits filmed on an iphone over the mainstream movies which have cost $1000s to make. Don't go out wasting money on gimbals, just go out with your mates and your phone, have fun and get a load of sick shots to mashup in the bar later.

The GH5 is a solid camera, if it’s been awhile since you’ve updated it you can add 4K 60FPS (slo-mo) and I think 1080p 120FPS (super slo-mo)

I use a canon lens adapter, that’s also a speed booster, and some sub-$300 cinema lenses that are butter with that speed booster, but they are all manual focus.

4k60 comes on every gh5, I've had one for a couple years now. The 1080p 120 is shit, not usable IMO. Love the 4k60 tho and the sensor stabilizer is unreal.

Work just added one but we had to upgrade the firmware to get 4k60, I’ve stayed away from the 120, 60 covers all my needs.

so far I’ve been happy with the sensor stabilization, these cinema lens have none but it handles them like butter.
