Decrease in performance with energy drinks

Hey guys. I was wondering if you have any information regarding the psycological and physical decrease in skiing drinking energy drinks. need this for a school project

I think you are just building up a tolerance and the energy drinks are not actually getting weaker

Off the top of my head it isn’t a supplement. They don’t help you build muscle, recover, or even provide you with energy. They just give you a caffeine fueled sugar rush. It’s disgusting, they have zero nutritional value. It’s canned desert marketed towards action sports and people buy into it. Even Gatorade is something you should stay away from. Energy drinks are gross.

dude I’m not gonna lie, I used to drink monsters whenever I’d go in until this season where I drank one and felt so messed up I had to sit inside for a bit to feel a lil bit better. fr tho I’d take a dunkin iced coffee over a monster any day.

I start my day off with a cup of black coffee
have a red bull on the first chair
and then have another red bull at lunch.

i ski wayyy better with caffeine

Back in the day I had 12 redbull and vodkas in an evening to supplement the beers, was tripping like I'd been necking purple ohms. Wouldn't have helped my skiing.

I stopped drinking energy drinks cause it wasn't cutting it anymore needed something a little higher performance. So I started drinking water and boofing meth. Never skied better. Fuck energy drinks. Crystal meth all day its gluten free and zero calorie too.

If you want the real answer to this OP then go on YouTube and find the Trollin Episode where they replace monster with water. Only then will you truly understand how drinking water effects your daily monster intake.

All caffeine does is gives your body an artificial adrenaline rush. When you pound a monster your body fires your adrenal glands to give a boost of Adrenaline and Cortisol. The problem is skiing itself releases adrenaline and your body only has so much. Once your glands run out you get whats called Adrenaline Fatigue and you feel like shit and wiped out. If you want real energy get some Siberian Eleuthero and take 2 in the morning before your first run. It regulates your adrenaline system so you have more energy during the day and it will actually make your body better able to handle the mental stresses of skiing. Russian athletes have been using it for decades and its good stuff.

Siberian Eleuthro sounds like a Facebook pyramid scheme product. There is a reason the Russians are banned from the Olympics. Great advice Karen.

idk much about this stuff, but im pretty sure caffeine doesnt even give u any energy in the first place, it just stops ur brain from realizing that ur body is tired. fuck energy drinks, if u want a burst of energy while ur skiing just go smoke crack instead
