CatdickBojanglesI would say the Bent 100 and Blend would be a good combo. Bent 100 is a medium stiff all mountain ripper and the blend is a super soft park ski.
TrizzYea that’s what I thought, although the noses from the bent chetler are a bit soft
CatdickBojanglesWhat do you normally ride?
TrizzThe arv 96 which is my first ever own pair of skis (I’m 14)
my plan is to wish the blends for next christmas (I’ll probably grow a lot until then)
And sell the arvs at a good condition so not too used and then maybe buy either the longer arv or buy the poacher/bent.
budget is not a problem since skiing is my life and I pretty much don’t spend my money on anything else

mystery3Why do you want 2 ~100mm waisted park skis? Where do you ski? If east coast I'd get a slightly narrower playful all-mountain ski that can hold an edge, if out west get something wider for outside the park?
severniyI would avoid anything that is 90-100 waist park skis to combo with Blends because it makes such a narrow ski quiver that you would regret about owning almost same skis.
First, why do you want to change your arv96 to blends? Arv is stiffer, but you can easily use it in and out of park, while blend would be too soft noodle for all mountain riding. If you worry that next christmas you will be too big for your current skis - then try blends before buy at the end of this season (after getting used to armada flex and skiability). I think you won't like it.
But anyway, if you want something to combo with a park ski then I would go with Black crows Daemon in your shoes. You can use it in almost any condition, it's stiff (you can go full candide mode) and has reverse camber = lot's of fun and easy turn initiation despite stiff flex. mount point more or traditional side, but you can move binding +2..+3 from recommended easily. and still use it in park occasionally. or If you still want to have some camber underfoot or more freestyle mount point, I would go with something that is 105-112 range - k2 marksman, new volkl revolt 104, zag slap 104, faction prodigy 3.
backyardcrackerfat cap. i have a pair of blends and they're great in and outside the park. fat ski with a good, stiff underfoot
shin-bangit’s not legal to use the words, “blends” and “stiff” in the same sentence.
don’t worry the cops have been notified and are on their way to arrest you
backyardcrackerclearly you know nothing about the blends if you’re out here saying stupid shit like that. wasn’t an insult just my comment because i actually have a pair

CatdickBojanglesWhat? Blends are almost the softest ski on the market.
backyardcrackeri’m 14 and weight 145 pounds, i can nose/tail butter. i’m fully aware that the blends are a very flexible, surfy ski. the underfoot is still stiff to an extent where i would never have to worry about skiing any conditions or weird landings.
btw you don’t need to weight more than 100 lbs. to drive your skis. it’s called technique
