Using an undersized ski

HelloNewSchoolers! Long time lurker, first time poster.

I'm taking my 4yo for her first time and to make things easier, I'm considering using a small ski while I'm with her on the bunny hill. Does this make sense, or am I going to have issues?

I'm 6'3, 200lb, and usually 170-180cm fits me well.
I have an older K2 that's 136cm and has adjustable demo bindings. Any reason why this would be a bad idea to use on the bunny hill?

If you're only going to be skiing at a few miles per hour and don't have an ego, then you should be fine

Noone cares what skis you're on man. Just make sure your bindings are safe and have a blast raising a little ripper

I only make friends with people who ride ON3P, Armada, Icelantic or Moment skis....

When my son was learning to ski I used some Dynastar ski boards I picked up at the dump. I rode them with no poles which enabled me to do whatever I needed to do to help him. You can easily help her with lifts, equipment and stay close to help andprotect her while she's skiing. With you close by she'll feel secure and be able to feel the freedom and experience the fun we all know...enjoy!!!

My bad , didn’t mean it so...uh... idk harsh...
guess I can understand his statement, people on those skis are probably “good skiers” who won’t hold ya back
but me I’ll ski with anyone , long as their kind, fun , don’t mind my weed . I’m not gonna judge bc of style or ability , we take separate runs bc of skill but meet at bottom ride lifts together etc

I don't think its a bad idea necessarily, but it is totally unnecessary. You'll be totally fine riding your normal skis.
