Small base delamination help (Atomic Blackeye Ti)

After waxing my skis I noticed a small area where the base is delaminated (feels soft, it is slightly above the surrounding area and edge, and goes down when pressing). There was a scratch close to this area which I had filled a while back with a P-tex candle, but the scratch did not reach the core. The edge looks fine, it is not bent. My concern is that if I don't fix this, water could get in the core. I'd appreciate any tips on how to fix it. I don't think that epoxy would flow under the base. I was thinking of trying Loctite Plastics Bonding System which is some super glue that comes with an activator and bonds with polyethylene, hoping it would flow between the edge and the base. Otherwise, I would need to open up the area and later fill it in.

The ski is an Atomic Blackeye Ti. I am attaching some pictures. The area is about 1 inch long and 1/4 inch wide next to the edge.

Well if it's actually delammed then you need to inject some resin in there and clamp it. Epoxy of suitable viscosity and elasticity will be needed for this. Like this slow hardener stuff: http://svst.com/Shop/Fast-Medium-and-Slow-Set-Epoxies/

Also if that ruler or whatever is straight your base is super railed and needs a stone grind?

Thanks for your comment. Do you have any suggestion on how to inject the epoxy between the P-tex and the core? Would I need to drill a hole in the base or pry the edge of the P-tex next to the metal edge with a knife blade or screwdriver? I am worried that if I insert something to make space for the epoxy I will delaminate it even more.

I may need a stone grind, but the first picture with the ruler was to show how the P-tex on the right side is raised about 0.3~0.5mm due to the delam. The base is otherwise mostly flat in other areas.

Notable is I'm just a garage guy, not a pro tech...

I wouldn't start drilling or cutting or anything if it were mine. It's much easier to have the material remain present. If you pull it up and more delams that's kinda alright because you're fixing it anyway. Anything that comes up with this was next in line. Obviously don't rip your entire base off, just a gentle pry and get some resin in there. Was there an impact to the edge nearby causing this?

A shop might also just remove what's damaged, feather the surrounding area and do and do a base weld or otherwise fill it? Maybe metalgrip?

There was a rock scrape going diagonally that scratched the base and the edge on the inside, it can be seen in one of the pictures, but looks rather minor and as far as I can tell did not bend the edge. But it could be that. It hapenned a while ago and I did not notice any delamination back then.
I agree with you that it would be best to keep the original material intact. A tech at a local shop suggested cutting off the damaged area and filling it with a gun but he did not inspire any confidence. He did not mention metal grip or anything special that would bond to steel.
