Sw cork vs sw rod question

yoyo. I be having a difficult time getting the correct axis for sw cork. maybe someones got some helpful tips.

right now I can do a very flippy sw rodeo (almost sw lincoln) but can't seem to find a middle ground between that and just a regular sw 5 or 7. when I set the trick my brain automatically just thinks backflip. my sw rod 7s aren't as flippy as the 5s, yet they still look totally fooked.

preciate' any good advice helping ur boy get corked properly.

I would go back and start with straight sw 540 first, then try to cork maybe with a japan grab. Maybe to think more as a spin rather than a flip at the take off could help

on that first flip, it’s almost a switch under flip type deal, very dope. To get it more switch rodeo I think you need to keep your hips a little more over your skis on take off. Just at the lip it looks like your skis are too far in front of your body, making you flip more. If you keep your hips more centered and set the same way with your core it shouldn’t be as floppy. Idk tho, could be wrong; I’m no switch cork expert

For the rodeo (and the cork for that matter ) open your shoulders up more to set your axis flatter if you tuck your shoulder down your body will follow into the flip.
