Base layer UA or something else?

Looking for a new base layer pant. The base layer shirt I have now is an Underarmour funnel neck which is awesome and too warm for most east coast days. However my pants are warn out and they are some old Army issued ones.

Looking at the underarmour base layers (2.0, 3.0, 4.0) anyone have these? If so what one is the best for skiing. Or should I look at other brands. Usually just wear one layer under my ski pants so no mid layer so I would like something pretty warm.

Under armour 2.0

I’ve used mine for 3 years through some gnarly mountaineering type shit and skiing and they still hold up perfectly

2.0 plus shell is my daily. I only need a hoodie on top of that for real cold days. Or just a hoodie for summer days

I’m a big fan of the wool 3/4 base layers. I currently have a pair of the Smartwool Merino 250 for chilly days and 150 for warm days.

Do they have a fly? The picture look like they don’t and that might be a deal breaker. It sucks taking a piss in the woods and having to pull them down underneath pants.

I've had great luck with Craft Sportwear as well. They create baselayers based on activity level and the fit is topnotch.
