Yo guys I was tryna turn up my din and then I realized I was moving my afd forward. Not great. Pretty sure I got it close to back to where it was but is there a way I can check to make sure I got the afd adjustment right? Thanks guys, promise I won’t hold ya accountable for anything u say
Forward pressure is different from AFD height. AFD height as mentioned you use a business card height spacer between the boot toe and AFD and raise the AFD until there is resistance on that card/spacer when you try to move it under the toe.
The critical step is that you have to apply pressure on the back of the boot to try and wheelie up the toe piece AND THEN test AFD height with the business card/spacer to eliminate slack.
Forward pressure is adjusted until you are in a certain pressure range usually indicated on a bolt or scribed line area above the track behind the rear heel piece.
What bindings are they so we can make sure they are adjusted right and you don’t die! Lol

Knowing what binding it is will help. I assume its either a marker royal fam or tyrolia attack since you mentioned moving the afd forward. seeing you did this means you really have no idea what you are doing and its probably best to drop by your LSS and pay them a quick $15-20 to adjust and release test for you.
AFD height adjust on Attack. Notice the arrow up trying to try and pull-up/wheelie the toe and then test with a business card height card.
Forward pressure-the back edge of the heel should be lined up within the scribed area(in green) if forward pressure is correct. Lift tab and move heel forward or back and re-test until you are in scribed area.
Ok so I don’t think I messed with Forward pressure. Only AFD height. I’ll try pushing back on the boot and putting the business card in and then adjust from there.

Good. Might as well still check forward pressure to make sure it’s good while you have the boot clicked in as well as checking for the correct DIN value on each toe/heel piece.
