Attack 16 VS Jester 18

Hi,

I'm having a really hard time figuring out which binding to get between these 2. I would have to mount them on some black crows nocta, and i used to have some tyrolia peak 12, but i had do max the din to 12 and they broke after a few days of easy pow skiing. I'm roughly 235lb with all the clothing and backpack on. I was looking into the tyrolia attack 16 binding at first, and found a good deal, but then i stumbled across an even greater deal on some jester 18 (they are basically the same price). I read a lot of good comments on the attack series, but i feel like the jester might be a better buy.. anyone's advice? which ones should i get?

The people of NS will take the Attack all day. The internet doesn't like Marker. Attack 16 or 18 are both burly, dependable bindings. I'd go that way.

Thanks for the suggestion! I'm just afraid of them braking, are they durable? I've had a couple of bindings breaking (always the stopper) so i wasn't sure..

Buy whatever's cheapest. You're not likely to break either of them. If you want the better of the 2, buy attacks.

Yes, but those are not the current Attack2 16 versions, so they are not Grip Walk(GW) compatible and don’t have the redesigned toe. Still good bindings but at least 3 years old so that’s why they are so cheap.

These would be the current GW compatible versions in the 18 DIN with the improved release and beefier toe.

Btw-Your old Peak bindings used to have very high stand heights with heel heights that were much higher than the toe height causing ramp issues. The new Attacks will be lower and much flatter so you should find yourself much more in balance on them as they don’t forward lean you like the Peak bindings used to. Attack2(except the 11) are lower and flatter than the Jester as well.

I know NS likes to jerk off to Tyrolia's late at night under the covers, but that torsional bar on the jester pro delivers some serious power transfer. For all of Marker's durability issues over the years, I've never had to warranty a jester pro.

Either way you'll be in a decent binding.

That's good news ahah the old ones did not feel bad, but if these feel better, I'm excited to try them

I had some durability issues with 2 marker bindings... They were not jesters of course, and my last pair were squires mounted on ar7s and they felt great!! i wanted to try something new and i I wasn't expecting so many good reviews on the attacks... I hope I won't regret my choice
