What is a skis optimal underfoot width for hitting kickers?
What is your preference.
I always feel better with skis width 85-90 mm
More width just makes you feel more stable

100-110. More thiccness = more better👌
whatever works for you. i've literally seen everything in the park to this day.
If you have skis they’re optimal
I think it depends on you/the skier.
Generally speaking, I feel a wider ski is more stabile. I feel more in control. But for a newer skier, more ski is much harder to maneuver and thus harder to control.
It also depends on the kicker - is it an east coast park jump or a back country pow jump? Are you throwing dubs or floaty 3s? For me personally, I'd want a wider ski. 100- 105ish would be wonderful because I prefer to feel more stabile than bunchy(idk if thats the right term but I'm going with it lol).
Depends on conditions
Soft groomed snow: 95mm
Groomed jumps after a bit of snowfall on top: 100mm
I have a 90 underfoot and It's perfectly fine
All times are Eastern (-5)
