I life-hacked toothpaste a long time ago and couldn't be happier.
My gums always bleed when I brush my teeth so I started just using antibiotic ointment as toothpaste. Clean teeth, healthy gums. It's a win/win. Would recommend.
Some kid at whole foods told me I don't even need to use toothpaste to brush my teeth as long as I eat nothing but fruit for the rest of my life. Looks like I'm savin' $2.79 every few months. Suck it, crest.

I got a bunch free synsodyne samples from the dentist but only use that if I run out of Crest but have one in my vehicle and backpack. Supposed to be the best according to my dentist.

faatasi will legit od on arm and hammer toothpaste shit is so good
This is literally THE WORST toothpaste ever created. It's practically sour its so bad. Your breath still smells like shit after and it doesn't foam at all. 10/10 would not recommend.
But for op, best toothpaste hands down is Aquafresh Extreme Clean. Foams like crazy.
SeekingseasonsNo-one uses Dr.Bronners for everything? You CAN brush yo teeth with it. Sometimes when im feeling down I get the kids cinnamon toothpaste also.
Just ordered me a tube, pretty pricey but whatever
I use any toothpaste that's available really, like currently I use sensodyne but i used to use Green Beaver toothpaste. If the dentist gives me a tube I'll use that. I don't think it really matters as long as your teeth are clean. Charcoal is nice too.

ANKILLA time
toothpaste are for drug addicts anyway
if you're a real one your's has Novamin included in the active ingredients, also you're a real one if you recognize charcoal "whitening" toothpaste is way more harm than good

It also cured my stage 4 cancer. looks like im saving $50,000 every month. Suck it, malignant tumours
mystery3I also use this, I don't love it but it's the closest thing I can get to the best toothpaste in the history of mankind...Mentadent.
Mentadent was the best shit in the entire world. My world crumbled when they discontinued it. So being the savvy millennial I am, I hopped online to cop some. I shit you not they were on eBay for 200 FUKN DOLLARS A TUBE. It was insane, people made buku dolores off toothpaste.

Bro I cringe when I’m talking to people and I can see the charcoal in between their teeth. So fucking gross. Kids and white chicks take up any gimmick they see on ig stories lmao!

Not to mention the fact that the charcoal is mad abrasive and might be raping their enamel.

It's truth. $90 for a single refill, $200 for two tubes and a base. I'd probably go as high as $20/refill because the toothpaste is/was that. Damn. Good.
I've been told that toothpaste should be regularly switched. Basically, since most toothpastes have specific properties in addition to basic cleaning (such as gum health, whitening, etc.) you should regularly switch so your teeth get to be exposed to all that good stuff and not just one active ingredient for your entire life.
I think it makes good sense, so I regularly switch brands and types.

according to my buddy in his second year at Harvard dental:
"we haven’t been told anything like that. the important thing is to use a fluoride toothpaste because that’s good for your teeth. and other than that, don’t use a toothpaste that has abrasive stuff in it that can weaken your enamel. some of the whitening toothpastes have stuff that’s effective at whitening, but can weaken your enamel, which would increase your risk for cavities. other than that, toothpastes like sensodyne and stuff have ingredients in them to strengthen your dentin (I think) which can help reduce sensitivity. i wouldn’t say there is benefit to randomly switching toothpastes for no reason as long as it has fluoride in it and isn’t too abrasive, you should be good. then switch if you need to. i can let you know if we learn more"

That's good info, thanks for sharing. Basically make sure it has fluoride and steer clear of the whitening stuff.
