I acquired a pair of Rossi experience 98s and the ptex layer is bubbling/protruding maybe a tenth of an inch. It's about an inch diameter or bigger and is underneath the heel binding but does not extend to the edge. I pulled the binding and the screw tips are a little corroded which led me to believe water got into the tapped holes and froze causing delam to start? Is this even feasible?
Either way any suggestions on how to repair if possible?
What if a layer actually cracked or separated? Can it be fixed? Or scrap the skis?
