How heavy is too heavy for skiing park?

What's your limit on ski weight when it comes to park? Over 2.2 kg per ski seems to be the threshold into what I would consider heavy, but I'm not very experienced with trying different skis at all. What are your thoughts?

my friend throws down in the park on some revolt 121's which are like 2500, it depends on what you are going to be skiing between jumps or rails

Have literally never thought about the weight of my skis and most people don't my dude, i wouldn't worry about it unless you're going uphill.

I saw who posted this and I instantly thought you were talking about body weight lmao. Anyways ski weight doesn't matter at all. I have sth2's and arvs which is pretty heavy and I do not even think about it. Also with your size dude no ski size should matter unless they are too flimsy to evenlean forward or back a bit

honestly its never a thought. most (if not all) park/ freestyle skis are light enough where it doesn't really matter. i ride on3p's which are supposedly on the heavier side and i've never noticed their weight. Even if a ski is heavier it will probably have features that override the weight to where it really doesn't matter.

Light park skis 1500-1700
medium 1700-1900
heavy 2000 +

Contrary to the replies above I really enjoyed having light skis and found it a lot easier to get tech on rails

Might be trippin but I find I actually kinda like a ski a little more on the heavier side. I find a lot of riders with really light skis tend to involuntarily cross their skis mid air much easier while people on the heavier side of the spectrum do a better job keeping them straight which I think is more stylish. Tbh I don't really know tho, just speculation.

I've 100% noticed it between my skis. The same trick on the same sidehit is easy on the lighter pair and barely gets around on the heavier pair.

Never paid attention to the numbers but the relative weight from one ski to another is definitely one of the more noticeable differences between skis to me.
