apapel20Big ups on the backyard setup! I also used a rail tutorial from long ago, and it has been really durable. I would recommend some beater skis for summer setups, though
apapel20Honestly, that should give you enough speed, and also once you start going it’s way more sketch than it’s worth to try and slow down, because the turf won’t slide as fast. It does wear down bases pretty good, so a short, light, cheap ski would be a good idea

Height and angle looks good. I wouldn't worry about having too much speed. 90% of people wish they could go faster on theirs. This should generate decent speed though.
What kind of rails are you building?
GetshiftyThanks man! I tested it out and the speed is good, I’m doing two ten foot rails out of PVC. I’m gonna finish it up tomorrow and make it look good.
