Faction CT 2.0 Mounting line

I've got mine on the candide line and they work great for everything, from park to pow.

It would be good to know what are you planning to do with them. If you want to ski mostly pow (which I assume you won't, because then you would have gotten the 3.0 or 4.0), go a bit further back, otherwise, candide line.

DO NOT mount them at the all-mountain line. it is a waste of time. put them at the CT line and call it a day.

Exactly. While we target prosumers/ higher-end users, we arent going to discriminate against anyone getting on our skis. But the CT 1.0 and 2.0 are full symmetrical sidecuts, so you realllyyy want to mount those at the CT line, which is close to core center.

And really the entire CT collection skis wayyyyy better at the CT line, as well.

Well thanks, that's good to know. A lot of people already had this question (simply search in the forum). And I have also been asked when I bought the skis if I'm really sure that I want them on the CT line, because that would be "really far in the front". (The shop where I bought them is awesome, but freeride/touring oriented)

btw: I have another pair of CT 2.0s mounted dead center, so even more forward than the CT point, and they also ski great.

what shop is that? i'll give them a call and give them the DL.

and as a skier (not as a faction employee), fuck anyone who questions where you say to mount them. these guys need a better clinic from their rep haha

It's called blacksheepsports (http://www.blacksheepsports.de/en/), and it's located in Munich, Germany. The best shop I know for boot fitting, and with great brands - for example the only european shop I know that sells ON3P.
Again, they focus more on backcountry and were a bit surprised that they had to deal with somebody more freestyle-oriented, that's all.

But yes, it would be cool if Faction could communicate the mounting point more clearly - I spent quite a lot of time thinking were I want my CTs mounted. If you only ski park, it's obvious, but once you add a bit of backcountry/touring in the mix, it's harder to find information on the mounting point.
