You see what happens is... most people do not change with the times, stay stuck in their old ways, their views, traditions and style become outdated, and as every new generation rises, the old is kind of pushed aside, every generation of people thinks it’s the greatest generation, which is generally true, and every generation ages and is surpassed by the next greatest generation and a lotta people can’t handle that. Sounds like you are generalizing a bit to me although your points do seem valid. I can somewhat agree with the work ethic of under 25 but it’s really impossible to come to conclusions based on anecdotal evidence. Same thing goes for your statement about driving skills. I think the general consensus is that there are people who are lazy and bad at driving and there are people who are not lazy and good at driving?

Anytime I debate anything , or talk on NS I’m usually playing a video game or at work not giving the thread my full attention.

I can agree I did generalize, and I don’t like to do that as seen by my talks with Dolan. I don’t consider any of what I said science, just a general statement of my life experience, and it’s my opinion that people my age(35ish) are softer on their kids, and spend less time teaching morals etc... were closing to our kids friends than parents, which is good and bad.

I’ve been in charge of hiring in the labor industry and run my own company for 15+ years , and in my experience there is a vast difference in the work ethic of a 28- vs a 35 + , and I’m not referring to skill, I’m referring to attitude and ethics and a sense of entitlement and a “oh my job description “ attitude. Yes some employers abuse the job description but not in any of my past jobs, but employees sure as hell do.

Same for driving, my statement isn’t about skill, tho skill is indirectly affected by the attitude of
“ you can’t pass me “
” I have the right of way “ , they probably didn’t
” I’m in a hurry “ for what to kill someone ?
“ my dealers waiting “
and just endless dumbness and lack of courtesy , yes these traits span the entire age spectrum, but the snot nosed ness and entitled ness has increased since I was in highschool , when I was in school you still had to worry dad would hear about your misdoings and fu k ya up for it ...
