Have you ever broken a bone?

Kinda curious what percent of NS has broken a bone before. I'd expect it to be quite high. Fingers don't count unless they were truly fucked as in sideways or sticking out.

I have not somehow.

Broke my arm in 3 places and shattered my wrist in the 3rd grade.

Broke my collar bone in 8th grade

Broke 3 toes in 11th grade.

Nothing serious in the last 6 years (knock on wood)

Learning to snowboard, first day broke my arm. That’s why I primarily stick to skiing there’s just that mental block as a result—I broke my arm on a damn bunny hill can’t imagine how easy it would be for me to do in the park. And I suck riding switch

was not fun once adrenaline wore off lmao. was by far my worst ski crash ever tho dude. overshot a 50 foot jump to about 120, i cleared the whole ass landing and went deep into the flats. knocked my ass out for like 5 minutes

fun fact: .02% of all fractures worldwide are the scapula.

Snapped 5 bones in one year had to go to surgery to fix my arm after that. Had my bone come out of my skin that was probably the most brutal one :D

I guess you can say I broke my middle finger... actually I meant shattered it into crum size pieces. I was at a hs football game leaning on a rolling fence (the case protecting the rolling part was broken) when some lady came in and literally crushed my finger in it... crushed. If it went past my knuckle I would have had it amputated. It’s ok now but a little crooked (got 13 stitches for it btw)

broke 3 ribs mountain biking, my left arm(falling down the stairs lol), fucked my right pinky toe too, cracked my wrist and 2 fingers skiing.

I've fractured both tibias. Both from playing soccer in high school. Second one was way worse, basically got my right leg stomped on square on. Hurt like a bitch and couldn't take weight for 5 weeks.

My injuries have got progressively worse over the years

2014: 1 finger playing soccer (this counts, I actually chipped part of the bone off which is still sitting out of place there today, so I've never got full movement back)
2015: Left collarbone skiing
2018: Left wrist mtb
2019: Neck mtb
2020: ???

Funnily enough these have all been in my 20s, I lived a sheltered life beforehand haha

Dropped a cliff, landed too far foreword, did a 3/4 front flip straight into a rock. Thank fuck it was a vertical fracture cause my dumb ass tried to stand up... You're fucked if a horizontal fracture slips. By far the most painful thing I've ever experienced to this day.

Don't ski side country in an unfamiliar area, on center mounted park skis, with no beacon, backpack or shovel.

How bad do you have to do your collarbone to not ride again? I did my wrist really bad and collarbone in one crash in may and was sending just as hard after 2.5 months

Too much skimmed milk is actualy bad cause the acidity can decay the bones more than calcium can strengthen.

I nearly did today, I’m out thinking the bamboo be soft I go to charg through some trees thinking my huge shoulders will graze the bamboo off

fuck i was wrong. My Shoulder catches and I get fucking yeeted out of my binding swinging to the right.
