What you see everyday, is a direct projection of your mind. If you are depressed, the world will seem grey and it may seem as though everything is against you. However if you are happy or positive, things will work in your favour. I would like to extend an example to substance use. When you are drunk your mind becomes lazy, and hence your actions become sloppy. You drop your bottle in the club stumble around. All of this behaviour happens in reality because your mind has been influenced.
A great way to take control of your mind and reality, is too start by tidying your room every day. I personally tidy every corner of my room. And the reason for this is that if your room is tidy, your mind is. And then you can focus on other things in life, such as removing personality traits that are undesirable or removing addictions.
TLDR: reality is a conscious projection of your mind. Tidy your room to the teeth, in order to take control of your life.

GOD exists as a universal constant of consciousness and intention with a compulsion towards good ... Not the Christian mainstream marketable god. People say what kind of God would allow such suffering ...the same that gave you these opportunities you take for granted every day !
Reality might be a projection on a scientific level but that doesn't change what you gotta do as a SOUL. Humans are centered in the heart , not the mind, the mind is a servant . the heart cannot be forgotten
Religion And all spiritual practice exists as a way of working with this "projection energy " as to manifest truth , love , protection , abundance ...etc.... Hence why your relationship with "God"/universal high/highest power MATTERS ...."matter-s"
