Using wax scrapings...we are desperately in need of wax

title says it all, I have access to a waxing iron but no wax, however there is a shit ton of fresh wax shavings on the bench. Now being the resourceful and poor asshole I am I only want to use scrapings. Anyone done this?will it work? What’s the age of consent in Oregon?

My dad used to do that all the time. He'd reuse wax at least 3 times when he was a broke college kid

Gather it all up and put it in a container, like a muffin tin or foil pan, then put it in the oven on low til it melts to one puck. Makes it way easier to apply than scrapings and all the dirt goes to the bottom so you can avoid it.
