CalumSKIThink it's a baraniNah a birani is a frontflip with a half twist, a gainer with a half twist you effectively roll onto your back as you jump then tuck after
LukeTheWaffleYou mean a backflip 180?naa its not the same as a normal backflip 180 as the twist comes first rather than afterwards
LunarSeaalthough now im looking at videos and im not even sure what im describing is a half twist gainer -.-
LivingDaLifeFlair?
brotherdadunderflip
LukeTheWaffleA flair can only be done in a quarter pipe
Isn't that a 90-sideflip-90?
nelesonNaah a underflip is a backflip 180 you can do it in many ways tho
iced+1 on flair
they are mostly done is quarters tho
LukeTheWaffleBy definition a flair is a flip air and that means it can only be done in a qp. Flair on a jump is a underflip
LivingDaLifehttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9HZlhCqtSKU This demonstration has it in a QP and on a jump, there's no definition of flair that indicates it only has to be done in a pipe.
I know this is freeskiing and nothing is official, but this wack tricktionary also just defines it as a backflip 180 -

Candide got 4th in the X games big air one year (2001 I think) doing a flair tail grab.
Nowadays, flairs are almost always a pipe trick, but I don't see any reason why it shouldn't still be a jump trick. It differs from an underflip in that the rotation happens later in the flip, the underflip begins the spin off the lip whereas the flair the spin happens about halfway through the flip.
McMaster_17are u talking bout Arabian kinda like in the air 180 to switch frontbasically the opposite of that so riding/running in facing forward then you kick up and across your body - effectively twisting onto your back to tuck and backflip to land switch.. I would provide a video of it on the ground but i'm injured atm :(
