Seems like the biggest/chillest collection of pros/really good not-quite-pros and they just constantly throw down because there's no reason not to. So many of them also learn and grow from each other to become better.

Is KimboSesh the best event in freeskiing?
Nine Knights/Audi Nines is probably my forever favorite but I'm generally more interested in the build of big events than the skiing. To consistently build creative/interesting features that push the sport of skiing, and look fucking perfect is amazing.
WCS was a pretty lit event. That was always fun to watch.
War of rails was a pretty fucking cool comp.
Honestly didn't remember much about kimbo sessions last year but have been checking out pictures/videos leading up to this year and watched a little but of people skiing the setup. Seems like a super chill event.

JOSS was one of the best events in skiing, shame that it was so short-lived (apart from JOI)

Its the best event because it portrays freeskiing as it should be with the best people in the world progressing the sport

It's the new WCS for sure, just in europe, which I think the right place because there are so many good euro skiers right now, bummed I couldn't make it but maybe someday.
Definitely think Kimbosessions is better in the sense that its much more lax while representing more lesser know skiers that gravitate more towards street skiing than comp skiing. I feel like Audi Nine's is too saturated with comp skiers like Andri Raggettli, Fabian Bosch, Birk Ruud, etc. Kimbosessions lets these lesser known skiers like Eirik Moberg, Peyben, LSM, Anton Linden show what they can really do while at the same time letting heavy hitters like Henrik, THall and Oystein throw down alongside them. Definitely a more progressive event imo.

also a jump off from this.. everyones mentioning events that dont exist anymore, we should debate which events were the biggest, and when others took over, sort of a chronological passing of the baton type conversation.. and i agree kimbo is on currently on top but slvsh is super damn close.

I liked WCS because you were able to ski with your favorite skiers. My first day at hood i rode the lift up with joona kangas and we talked about keeshlife and how sick wcs is. And then you had a chance to ride the features and everything with all your favorite pros. Kimbo is invite only after the resort closes which is the only thing i think is whack about it. You have to be a somebody to participate. And I understand why its like that, but itd be cool to go to and jus watch everybody/meet our idols.
Not taking anything away from the event, thats just an opinion i have about it. It's probably the only thing i find super sick in skiing anymore, along with slvsh cup. Everything else is losing flavor in my eyes.
I would agree with eheath saying its the new WCS and probably is the one of the best events in skiing right now. Its awesome and i hope it never stops. Big ups to klappen for allowing it to happen.

Idea:
Find a resort willing to go all out after the season ends to build a full LTC inspired park with virtually zero standard park features, mainly features comparable to whats in the videos. Spread the word, do that cash prize for tricks thing like for TAFT, open to the public for a small entry fee, let riders vote for an amateur "winner" of that. Also have an invite-only "pro" class with some big names, and the public votes for the winner of that.
In the right area this could take the cake from Kimbo. Somewhere on the East Coast maybe.
