Hi
I recently purchased the black crows captis, wich are 90 mm. With these I purchased the marker squire 11.0
As the brakes on the binding were 90 mm I figured these would fit. However, my local dealership who were meant to mount the bindings told me they couldn't fit these on the skis.
I've read about bending the brakes, but appereantly the marker brakes will simply brake when doing so.
What are your solutions, ideas, recommendations?
Thanks!

First of all, good choice on the Captis. That ski rules. They are indeed 90 underfoot, and if your binding is 90 too, they should fit no problem. You need to find another shop cuz these guys appear to be idiots. If anything you want your brakes to be a little narrower than the ski so the don't hang up on each other. Those brakes def DO NOT need to be bent to fit on your skis.
So, it's normal that the brakes 'scrape' the sides of the ski when mounting the binding?
Because I tried to place the bindings on the skis and indeed, you have to use some force to make it fit.
Thanks for the reply, it's awesome to hear I made a good choice with the Captis!
I always buy brakes over width to avoid this, I never match them it's too close, go 100mm for a 90mm ski. You can buy wider brakes, or try and force the ones you have, but I have had issues with brakes getting stuck up and not doing anything when I have then too narrow (although my brakes were bent from a few crashes)
If you can, return the squires and get attack 13s either b85 or b95.
I have 100mm shift brakes on 110mm waisted skis, the took a bit of massaging but work fine. I know people have mounted attack brakes of 95mm on 102mm waisted PB&J with no issue.
