4FRNTWelcome to the 4FRNT Family!
Budh.iesSuch a fun ski for park and all mountain ripping. They're my go to if there's less than a foot of snow.
Jeewoo_14Sooo i got new skis... I recently posted asking bout my new K2 Poacher but I decided they're too long so I found a banger deal on 4FRNT. I got the 4FRNT Vandal 17/18 158cm Orange edition for only 200USD! From the few reviews i could dig up I think these skis match my needs of 50/50 of park riding and cruising/carving around the resort but if anybody has some opinions u can give on these skis, lemme know 👇
Jeewoo_14sick! do they hold up ok if u rip down groomers, carving?

Phillydog1Dude that's a crazy deal!! Definitely could not do much better than that
Grant_TarbellWell they are the most durable park ski I’ve ever had, took two seasons of riding each weekend until I got an edge crack. I detuned so not sure about the carving but these skis can rip
Ian.HamYeah there's good camber underfoot with early rise so they carve great!
-arc-I was definitely better than I thought they'd be on groomers. I passed my CSIA level 2 on em so they can be worked. Then again I'm a firm believer in the skier of the ski.
Jeewoo_14Sick dude, imma be doing my CSIA level 1 on these next year so i can't wait! btw where did u mount ur bindings? I ski both forward and switch, hoping for a in between setting of park mount and normal mount.
-arc-I put em 2.5cm behind centre and that did the trick for me. Don't get it twisted they aren't the most stable ski at high speed and do get a bit knocked around in chop. All about right tool for the right job though. Perform well enough on and off groomers. Good luck on your level 1! You got it in the bag.
Jeewoo_14Thanks! and is that 2.5 behind true center or 2.5 behind the recommended mark?
-arc-2.5 behind true centre!
Jeewoo_14and is that mounting point great for everything? like riding switch, hitting rails, riding some powder and carving grooms?
