Snowbird gives the chair only pass the axe
Why??????? I paid 450 for my chair only pass this year. Next year itll be the summit pass for 679. They are giving people a 100 dollar credit in a gift card for next year so itll be 579, but still, come on man. Every weekend warrior worth his shit loved that pass since the tram is always so packed.
This is really weak. I hate the Tram, everything from taking your skis off, the long line, the packed tram car etc.
"Chair-only" cheapskates, fill the parking lot too early, bring their own beer, and generally don't buy enough $22 cheeseburgers? Revenue per ski day is not high enough.
Not enough revenues from us brokebois cuz we dont stay in their piece of shit hotels or eat their sysco burgers lol.
I visited the bird on a saturday over christmas break and there was no wait for the tram at 12pm. I must have gotten lucky.

The resort is interested in the client who buys 1-3 burgers per day for his or her family, maybe an overpriced apres cocktail or beer or three to boot.
It sucks for the core skiers but the resorts are not going to cater to us with free hot water and condiments, low priced burritos and free parking.
If you cut those cheeseburgers out of the budget you're halfway to the price difference for next year's pass!

I wouldn't do that to some innocent bartender. I could pen a complaint letter to snowbird management though. Even though it wouldn't change anything it would make me feel better
