I have a pair of Rossignol Rebel Freerides 177cm. They're about 90mm, 69mm, 110mm so pretty narrow. The skis have a rocker tip but a flat wait and tail. I'm 6'0 and weigh 175 (below average for my height).
I'm a beginner to intermediate skier with a moderate amount of inbounds experience. I'm not an aggressive skier and I don't go for speed. I live very close to the west side of the North Cascades and have very easy access to some great backcountry skiing destinations. My goals are to do day-long touring trips with some summit trips. Ex. Mount Baker, Mt. St Helens
Right now I have Salomon 700 bindings on the skis, which are alpine bindings. My plan is to replace these with touring bindings and purchase boots as well.
Does anyone have any advice on whether these are capable of using in backcounty?
