Bindings in the middle?

Do I have to have bindings in the middle of skis to be able to ski switch more easily? Thanks.

center mount helps with skiing switch and landing switch but I wouldnt mount center unless youre riding those skis park almost exclusively

yeah you don't want to centermount unless you really want to cause you know that's your preference or if you are literally skiing and landing switch as much as you do forward (park rat) and even then you don't NEED it

I’d only centermount. I ride switch just about every run, park or not. Mobbing a groomer switch is as fun as anything. Rearmount if you don’t care about going switch. If you intend to ride switch just do it and get used to it. I’ll never ride a rear mounted ski again in my life and my Arv 106s kill it in pow at center. Only issue is gotta get used to the extra tail if you ride a lot of bumps. But once you do it’s no problem.

edit: atleast 5 of you probably fucking suck switch, thought this was a freestyle site but guess y’all getting soft. If you think a rearmounted Ski is as good switch then you are a kook, period.

The answer to your question is that yes, center mount will be better for EXCLUSIVE switch riding. But otherwise its retarded.

I ride switch a lot (in the park and just on groomers) and have my skis mounted back and I personally really enjoy it because it gives me confidence to put my weight on my shins when carving switch since I have more nose that tail

If your hitting any features or spinning at all and like everyone said riding switch you should have them center mounted it’s a good way to start your transition into park if that is what you are after
