onenerdykidWhen skis are mounted incorrectly, 9/10 you do not get new skis. Especially if you threaten them with taking them to small claims court. That's a horrible idea.
What you should do: go in and politely ask to speak with the shop manager and calmly explain the situation to him/her. When you are nice, the chances that you will get what you want are astronomically higher in your favor than if you are a dick or threatening them. Do not expect them to replace your skis- this is not standard practice. But they should compensate you, without question. Perhaps it is a refund on the mount and as correct of a mount as can be for free, plus free tunes or something. Definitely politely and calmly discuss it with the shop manager and I am sure you will be properly compensated.
