They don't even stop your skis, plus the lost weight sure is a bonus. especially in bounds.

yes they stop your ski in many cases

seeing a sick skier ride without brakes doesn't mean it's a good idea, it just means he's also a retard

there is no downside to using brakes. bend them if you need to
